Key Points:

• This was the final community call of 2021! Thank you to everyone who joined. It is tough to believe that it has only been eight weeks since we have started Future Foundation.
• We discussed our plans for 2022, and we'll get started in earnest across the three program areas (1. Reimagine Social Impact Funding, 2. Accelerate web3 x social impact organizations, 3. Support the broader ecosystem).
• We reviewed the updated framework / mad-lib exercise that we can use to help social impact organizations explore how to best use web3. Updated view here:

Future Foundation - How might social impact orgs use web3?

• We are looking for 4-6 social impact organizations who would like to beta test our support program in Q1 2022. If you have any suggestions (or would like to nominate yourself), please reach out.

Member Updates

• Becca: Reminder/invite: the Last Mile Money final pitch day for our accelerator is tomorrow at 7am PT. It isn’t web3 focused but it’s 8 very cool companies, and if anyone wants to join, just DM me and I’ll send you the registration link!
• Josh (PDAP): Iterated on schema generation tools for PDAP scrapers—from police dataset → code that fits into our ecosystem.
• Ryan (NYC): Mentioned our efforts from last week to Global Impact, and they were enthused and willing to help in any way they can. Would also aim to ask Social Good Fund and Social Impact Commons
• Gary (DreamDAO): Picking founding voting members of Dream DAO this week - been a pain tbh - but excited to finish the process!

Looking Ahead to 2022

• We discussed whether we are trying too much or not enough.
• We can multi-thread this if we have people who are excited to take the lead and steward it
• We can always take a pulse check and update as we go
